As a country girl from Maine, now living in a Houston suburb, I take delight in the critters that show up around us. Winter Bandit was inspired by a very cold and curious raccoon who frequents a neighbor’s back patio in search of grapes and marshmallows. I’ve given him a colorful red hat and scarf because Texas has been cold this winter!
